In deep emotion, Costa Coffee completed yesterday the "Support the Children Cup" initiative, delivering a cheque amounting to 9,680 euros, thus helping, once again Makarios Hospital and more specifically the Pediatric Neurology Clinic where children with neurological diseases and severe disabilities are treated.
Costa Coffee, due to the occasion of the 50 years of operation of the chain, financially support the work of Makarios Hospital, with a series of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. For this reason, 500 collectible cups suitable for hot and cold drinks with reusable straw were created, the design of which was signed by fashion designer Efi Papaioannou.
Last Thursday, the Marketing Manager of Symeonides Coffee Cyprus Ltd, Petros Kettenis, handed over the check to the Director of the Pediatric Neurology Clinic, Dr. Giannis Ioannou, the Scientific Director of NAM III Dr. Neophytou Andrea, the Doctor of the Pediatric Neurology Clinic Dr. Gavatha Marina and the Assistant Scientific Director of NAM III Konstantinos Anna, to cover the basic needs of the clinic.
In addition to the financial support, Costa Coffee has from time to time offered free drinks to the attendants of the children, to the staff of the ward and teddy bears for the children themselves.
In a statement, Mr. Kettenis pointed out the company's emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility and that this action is the continuation of a beautiful collaboration with Makarios Hospital, which will continue in the future.
